serge555 Posted May 15, 2014 Author Posted May 15, 2014 I have sent this parcel from Phuket at 30 Apr. Today is 15 May and they don't have it at destination Chom Thian Post Office - JomtienMoo 12 Soi 5, Beach Road, Jomtien, Bang Lamung, Jomtien, Pattaya, 20150 I have mailed to [email protected] but no answer. Anybody know what to do now?
susan d Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Let your Thai friend call to post office at phuket or jomtian and ask them. (need receipt)
serge555 Posted May 15, 2014 Author Posted May 15, 2014 It was me who have sent the parcel from Phuket Kathu POI've sent it fi my friend to PttKathu Post OfficeTel. +66(0) 76 31907530/12 Moo 1 Tambol Kathu, Muang, Phuket 83120I call but telefone is out of order...My friend went to Jomtiene office but they just said we don't have and that's it...
CharlieH Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 According to online tracking that number is not valid, I know its correct from your receipt. You need to go to the Post Office you sent it from and ask them to check on there computer for you.
serge555 Posted May 15, 2014 Author Posted May 15, 2014 I can not go there, I leaved Phuket, and never go back, I'm on Ko Tao now.
CanInBKK Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 I once sent a package to the US by the cheapest method (yes, it's overseas but the story is similar to the OP). A number was generated but never traceable on the website (which leads me to believe the number is merely an auto count feature and not a tracking ID). A few months later the package eventually showed up - after I had already sent in the insurance claim and received the money (from the producer of the contents, not Thailand post). You might just need to give it more time.
harrry Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 I think you will find it is tracked internally. If you go to your nearest big post office with a thai friend and a letter reporting that the parcel has not arrived at the destination they can probably track that it has been reieved at the post officde. Of course if you cannot take your passport to the post office where the package is supposed to arrive they probably will not give it to you even if it has.
