question about non. imm. visa o

Featured Replies

To all,

I recently married and I have a daughter. End of July, we fly to my country to visit my own family and some friends.

Beside that I will apply for a non. imm. visa O. I've got all document that is require to apply for that but there are some issues.

1) I'm 34 years old, my question is requirements are different (50+)???

2) Because I get work from Holland as well U.S. half the money will be paid to my account (Holland) other part paid by Money gram!!! How i can show them I make enough?

3) IF...IF my income is not enough...Thai embassy won't give me a visa O.....???? What kind of visa should I apply to stay/live in Thailand?

Since you are married to a Thai your age does not matter.

Why don't you make a trip to Savannakhet Laos now and get your multiple entry non-o. You will not need to show financial proof.

I am not sure what the requirements are for applying in Holland is at the moment. It would be best that you check with the embassy or the consulate in Amsterdam..

I presume you married to A Thai national.

The requirements depend on what grounds you apply. Based on marriage they are different than based on retirement. Upon proof of marriage you should get a non-O visa from the consulate or embassy.

The consulate probably would not infor relating your income,. If they do, bankstatements or payslips should be enough.

Immigraiton in Thailand will want proof of your income for an extension of stay. What you do is you get a statement from the Dutch embassy in BKK, regarding both your US and Dutch income. As you are Dutch the Dutch embassy will varify your US income.

More infor on their website.

You shouls show an income of 40,000 baht a month OR 400,000 baht in a bank account in Thailand for 2 months in your name only.
