Tarit expects several PDRC leaders to be arrested in two days

BANGKOK: -- Department of Special Investigation chief Tarit Pengdith expressed confidence Thursday that police would be able to arrest leaders of the People's Democratic Reform Committee, who are wanted by arrest warrants, in two days.

On Wednesday, the Criminal Court approved arrest warrants for 30 leaders and key members of PDRC on insurrection charges as requested by the Attorney General.

Tarit said police would focus on arresting those who are not protected by guards and police are monitoring them to make arrests.

"They are still elusive because they have not returned home or returned to stay where they used to stay. We are tracing them and we expect that we will capture them in one or two days," Tarit said.

NOTE TO SELF: when trying to avoid the Thai Police, be "elusive" . . . simply never go home or to work and they'll never figure out where to find me. Sorted.

He must be racing with Chalerm in silly announcement category....

Though he missed to inform who, at what time, where and by who....

Who says Tarit's anti-PDRC? He's advising them to get guards in order to avoid arrest!

DSI to send police assault units to arrest PDRC leaders

BANGKOK, 15 May 2014 (NNT) - The Department of Special Investigations' (DSI) Chief has disclosed that police assault units have been deployed to arrest core PDRC leaders.

DSI Chief Tharit Pengdit revealed that the Criminal Court has already approved an arrest warrant against 30 leaders from the People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) and the Students and People's Network for Thailand’s Reform (STR), who are all accused of insurrection.

At this point, the police are searching for at least 20 PDRC leaders who haven’t been frequenting the rally sites and are not well protected by guards like the other core leaders. He expects that the police would be able to apprehend a few PDRC leaders within a matter of a day or two.

Tarit following the tried and true CAPO strategy - tell the whole nation through television exactly who they are going to arrest first and why, exactly what conditions are needed in order for them to succeed, and that they're waiting for those special exact conditions in order to succeed, and exactly when they will make the arrests. In the meantime, it seems Chalerm's paratroopers are taking an indefinite leave of absence, as Chalerm muses at the bottom of a bottle that suppressing free expression can be so exhausting.

Thailand the hub of crack downs on insurrection.

im not holding my breath, especially since we know these idiots get released an hour after they get arrested, when they do get arrested.

'They will catch them in one or two days,or maybe not' he should have added,if he is ever out of a job with the Dsi, i suggest Tat would be perfect for him.

Could this possibly mean that these 20 'non core ' members are not actually active ... with all these announcements of PDRC leaders I have to wonder. How many are there?

I have it on good authority that the D.S.I. have adopted a new theme tune See below.

I find it amazing that everyone seems to expect results according to what TVF members expect being experts in such operations eh?

If it happens it happens, if it doesn't no big deal tomorrow is another day and another final battle ;) both sides talk shit !!

What I seen the other day Suthep, was escorted by six police officers.

WTFish must be to joke of the Day rolleyes.gifwhistling.gifclap2.gifcheesy.gifw00t.gif

Tarit, Calerm, and the rest of CAPO have got to be the most useless humans on the earth. Make threats and nothing, make more threats, and nothing. How can these idiots even show their face in public?

PDRC core leader Thaworn Senneam described the attacks early this morning, which killed at least three people, as outrageously violent.

I guess Tarit forgot to mention when he expected to make arrests of the murderers of these people. PDRC don't give him his orders, and he would never consider biting the hand that feeds him. The words self serving scum come to mind.

If he can't arrest them is he going to cut his head off

Yada yada; and the bullshit goes on. If they can't do anything useful why don't they just stay silent and let everyone think they don't exist. After all; for all the good they do they may as well not !

I thought Chalerm said an elite squad of paratroop hard guys were going to be rounding up these miscreants. Surely they will not be deterred by a few hired guards?

and end up with key jobs working for the People's Councilph34r.png

I think that the elite paratrooper thing was ploy to confuse them so that they would be looking to the sky, when Ninja Turtles came up from the drains and canals and grabbed them.

D=doorknobs

S=stupid

I=idiots

What a waste of tax payer's money.

Dont ya just love it, " hey we, re gonna arrest you next week, or maybe not, why do they like publishing details, just do your bl**dy job, remember the traffic clamdown, same same, "if you dont wear a helmet , we are going to fine you next week" or maybe not ha ha,

They will swing into action, just as soon as they finish their shift as security guards for the PDRC thumbsup.gif

How many times we read about this? Bored!
