AndyGG
How much for baggage? Add another 10 - 20 % onto the costs. To be fair, mdmayes, Nok Air give you 15 KG hold luggage and another 7 KG cabin luggage allowance free. It goes up in denominations of 5 KG of chargeable baggage after that if you need more than 22 KG. You can also select your seat for free. There are no great frills but for the price they are now offering, its very good value and not exactly in the Ryanair rip off class. So maybe we can't be too cynical. mikemac
I went to the Nok Air ticket counter in DM Airport and asked for a ticket to Chiang Mai. Young lady gave me the ticket price. I told her the price was more than Thai Airways were charging so she suggested I join the Nok Air Fan Club and receive a discount on all future flights, which I did. Cost 200 baht but well worth it. Flight to CM was way less than TA, after the discount. Very good plane and flight to CM, would fly with them again.
ktm jeff
Thai Lion Air - hand baggage = 7 KG , hold baggage = 15 kg. Dont know how much for extra weight. New planes , no food , but om a 90 minute flight there have been no reports of anyone starving to death !.
songhklasid
I would rate orient @ the bottom ( limited destinations) then air asia, their complex booking system online, pay for everything, nok air my favourite for value, convenience, thai smile good if you can get a deal, What about thai lion air ? i haven't had the pleasure, can anyone share their thoughts. regards S.S. CaptainPeacock
...Just returned from Udon Thani to do my visa in Lao, flying with Nok Air, must say they are EXCELLENT! YOU even get a snack, unlike 'kinow' AirAsia ... Only good thing about AirAsia is it has more routes and my, MY... those foxy hostesses look like PORNO Stars ...LOL
