Hello,

I have just bought a motorbike (125cc) and I am looking for an insurance, a third party would be enough for me since I just drive it in the soi around my place in Bangkok.

I was looking online for one but then I've found several website stating that before the third party insurance I must have the compulsory insurance which cost 323 baht a year. it covers basically nothing but I must have it.

Any idea how to get it ?

When I bought my motorbike the previous owner made the tax and book transfer but he didn't mention about the insurance.

So now I'm looking to get this one + a 3rd class insurance as well.

If you know some serious company it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

You need it to get your new sticker every year. It's called Por Ra Bor. You can get it at the Department of Land Transport. If you don't want to deal with them because it can be a pain, find a local motorbike shop. They can handle it for you for a small fee. My local shop charges 120 baht to do it all for you.
