May 20, 201412 yr Can one get a Kor Ror 2 (marriage statement) from any amphur in Thailand or only the amphur one got married at? If yes, does bringing only a copy of the marriage certificate suffice for getting the Kor Ror 2? Plan to use it for new Non Imm O (spouse) visa. Thanks for any useful replies!
May 20, 201412 yr Unless you got married many years ago (15 years) you can get the Kor Ror 2 at any Amphoe by paying 20 baht. It would easier if your wife went to get it. All she would need would be her ID card. If you do it yourself take your marriage certificate, passport and perhaps a signed copy fo your wife,s ID card.

May 21, 201412 yr Author Thanks Ubonjoe! Since I am in BKK, where is the amphur office to get this? Or is there only 1 amphur office in Bangkok? Or do I have to (or can I) get it at Khet Prakanong Sukhumvit 54 only?
May 21, 201412 yr In Bangkok it could be done at any Khet. Sometimes I remember to write Amphoe/Khet when posting about such things.
May 21, 201412 yr Author Thanks. I think I will go to the Khet office at Liberty Plaza Bldg Thonglor (Suk 55), that's close to the San Saep canal.
