Just a quick question about a UK citizen travelling back to the UK (one way).

Does the passport need to valid for six months or not?

Cheers in advance...

It could even be expired and you would still be admitted into the UK, with the caveat as Mario2008 pointed out that there could be an issue if you were not flying direct.

And in any case, it would only matter if you were expecting to clear customs and immigration in that country: you don't have to worry if you're just transiting in a connecting flight.

so, you think there will be an issue with a stop off in a third world country for a couple ov hours? Not clearing immigration, just refuel i guess..
