Any restrictions on the over night buses to and from Bangkok?

Recommended Posts

Went to take evening bus from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Pattaya yesterday, but told that they stopped at 7:00pm. Have to go this morning instead.

Were taxi's also not available?

In the absence of an actual person telling us that they made the trip ok - these people might be able to help.

I know that you are asking about buses - but as you posted on the Samui forum - you will need a ferry first. Most companies provide bus and ferry tickets so they should know if the buses are operating.

Just a thought.

Yeah, but seatran and raja ferry services starts at 5AM and last ferry arrives at 8:30PM, so they're not affected by the curfew anyway.

And how do you get to the 5AM ferry? Sleep at the ferry terminal all night!!

No you just drive there....blink.png it's not an issue here (so it seems) .... stay in the bars until 4 am and then head to the ferry... facepalm.giftongue.png

Either you can just ignore the curfew and go out anyway to catch the first ferry, or go out at 5 sharp and catch the next ferry instead.

The first ferry departs at 5 sharp, when the curfew is over anyway.

The point is that the ferry times were already outside the curfew.

Why don't you call some of the transport companies? Would you like other members here to do it?
