Popular Post XaS
I have been living in Thailand for almost 3 years now and never had this problem. Yesterday i was walking from BIG C in Ekkamai towards the BTS with a small bag with meat and vegetables. Reaching the Bts i suddenly got stopped by 2 police on a bike they said to stand against the wall. I felt threatened because many other farang also there looking and thai people started looking like i was some kind of criminal they just catched. They asked for my passport wich i didnt have on me. So i called my gf to bring it. Meanwhile they took me to the small booth where they watch traffic next to the Gateway Ekkamai on the street. I was forced to go inside and they gave me a half cut bottle of water and asked to pee in it. No privacy at all i had to show my wiener to them while peeing. Its not easy to pee when 2 ugly cops are looking at your sausage. I tried to close the door many times but they kept opening it and started shouting. They also took my phone away from me that time and gave it back after i was finished. After that he showed me 2 packages one tester for Coke and one for Cannabis. All Negative i was not worried about the test. I was more worried about the bottle if they already put some substance in it to screw me. Meanwhile my Gf arrived and showed them my passport. He started to look at the arrival card and said Oh you visa overstay. Then i knew this cop doesnt know shit about passports. I had to take the passport out of his hands and show him my Visa and Stamps myself. After that we could read of his face that he was pissed of because there was no money to get out of me. They had searched my wallet before and i only had 200 baht inside because i just went to Big c. I took of with my gf and they kept staring at us while we are walking away. I'm happy i dont live in Ekkamai i only go there for my Gf. Every time i have to walk past them when i visit my Gf they keep looking. This is just to warn you guys about these cops. Their booth is next to the Mediplex center when walking to the Bus station you have to pass them. They are constantly looking at foreigners and if they think you are a resident be sure they wil stop you.

meom
So everyone is safe with ecstasy then? Simply refuse the to take the test.I have many times and have never given one once besides being 'ordered" so many times to do so. The Asok are and thoglor area's seem the worst. Just curious Hermes but do you look special or something. I mean in 18 years walking the streets drunk, sober or high I've never once been stopped so I'm wondering how comes you've been stopped many times? wooloomooloo
This was around 5 PM. Was the test positive or negative? If negative, one has nothing to fear, surely. If positive, what are you doing in a country that has strict laws on the sale and consumption of illegal narcotics. XaS
Negative but i wonder if they have the right to do this without evidence. And they dont have the right to look at me while peeing. Not from the side but the front.

Popular Post Jack Burton
Someone stops me and asks me to piss in a can then it ain't happening no matter what country I am in. You need reason to stop someone on the street at 5pm and ask for a widdle sample. Never heard anything so ridiculous in all my life. Next you will be telling me foreign men buy homes and put them in a prostitutes name.......
Popular Post Hermes100
The episode ended in my forcing the threatening officer's mobile phone down his mouth after slapping him around the face- can you imagine how much face i made him lose! He will never forget that. Sorry, there might be a language issue here, so maybe I'm misunderstanding... you're saying you slapped a police officer and then physically forced his mobile phone into his own mouth..? Yes, into, not down, and very proud of it I am too. He spat it out and then I slapped his face and spat right into it. I will never forget the look of total amazement on his face when I did this because I was cuffed at the time. The look on his face was classic. I was slapped around a bit but the officer's doing it did not use any real power. One officer was laughing so loud that the he was told to shut up. I suffered no real injury at all. He looked in total amazement and I just could not stop myself making fun of him.Again and again. Later I was told they all hated that officer anyway because he was a rich man's son who only had senior rank because of his fathers connections- and they secretly loved what I did to him because he was such a bastard. When my lawyer came he was forced to apologise. No money was paid.I did not pursue the matter. Good lawyers are key to good outcome in thailand with any involvment with police. A good lawyer sends a very powerful message. When bad thai police stop you they usually instantly look at your name cards and if they see well known lawyers, or persons of power, you will be treated much better. I know many will call me a liar.Bothers me not at all. My embassy and lawyer are well aware that I am speaking the truth-and so is he.He will never forget it. The end of this tale is also quite interesting and a real coincedence. I was well out of town doing some shopping with a few friends. I think it was a Lotus of something. A large shopping place with large carpark. Anyway, the carpark was quite large and out of habit we always park face out and under bright light's. There was only one car next to us although there were many places to park closer to the doors -and guess who was in that car? That officer! and the look of terror on his face when he recognised me will never leave my memory. I guess he thought we had followed up and now had him! Sometimes justice is so sweet. One more thing I want to add is that all we often read here is storys about the bad thai police. This is not really fair. The one's I know are really decent hard working men-and women( thai police women are really great),A true credit to their service who are not often recognised.

If positive, what are you doing in a country that has strict laws on the sale and consumption of illegal narcotics. it also has strict laws against corruption, the selling of women, gambling and a whole range of other things.Yet, they still go on. These police only inovoke these laws as a shakedown. And, postive or not- you do not have to suppply anything, compley with those demands and can cover any result if one knows how.
