Thai Consulate Vientiane - Opening Hours

Did the run on Wednesday/Thursday for a new 3 month Non-Immigrant O.

Previously the hours of application submission was 09.00 to 12.00, this has now changed to 08.30 to 11.30.

The hours of passport collection were 13.00 to 15.00, this has now changed to 13.30 to 15.30.

Please note that when collecting your passport, you must collect your number from the desk in front of window number 2 at the application windows then proceed in the side entrance of the main building when they open the doors at 13.30 (ish).

I noticed a lot of people entering the front door of the main building yesterday then having no idea where the queue numbers were located.

I think those are the same hours they have had for some time now.

Apologies if I was highlighting the obvious. Been a while since I was last up there and the hours hadn't changed over the last few years.

On the plus side, the beer Lao dark still tastes as good as ever.
