Every Thai Travel company needs to insure their customers as per law. If you want a TAT certificate and renew it after 1 year you will need to show them a insurance policy for your customers.

But the policy has limitations especially in Thailand. In Singapore they include hospital treatment as compulsory whereas in Thailand it is not included. I found this out after I flew to Australia by Thai Airways and picked up a flesh eating bacterial infection from their seating arrangements, I went straight into I.C.U. and nearly died. The Citibank Travel insurance through Jardine Thailand had been cut to the bone compared with the Travel Insurance provided by Jardine Singapore for Singaporean flyers.
