The 30+30+30 leasing contacts in Phuket is over
It wasn't legal before this either and hasn't been for quite some time. Ranks right up there with starting a business to try and buy a house, not legal in 99.9 % of the cases -

First causalities of Trump's trade war begin to emerge: JLR halts US car exports
And so very true Cameroni. But no one is buying Jaguars anymore since they went Woke and announced they will only manufacture electric vehicles. The very British MG is now owned by a Chinese company so no reason to buy that car either. The Brits will capitulate very soon and bargain with the author of "The art of the Deal," Trump. President Trump just keeps on winning and winning. MAGA -

EVA Air Flight BR67 Makes Emergency Landing at Suvarnabhumi After Circling Thai Skies
I flew EVA business from Bangkok to Toronto a month ago. It was my second time with them and it was even better than the first time. The only thing that's a bit sucky is their lounge in Taipei which can't compete with Thai airways. She sleep was comfortable, in flight menu great and I got to keep one of the most comfortable pyjamas I ever owned. I hope they don't "upgrade" anything as it's usually a downgrade. Recently saw Thai Airways business class upgrade which has passengers feet sticking out into aisle. -

Iran Warns of Retaliation Against Britain’s Diego Garcia Base Amid US Tensions
Well at least we know why you are so deranged by your hatred of him. He won, I reckon, and you..? Everybody hates a competitor, especially ones who are more successful. -

The 30+30+30 leasing contacts in Phuket is over
I read the article. It said the court couldn't find any 'precedence' for forcing the freeholders to renew the leases. Here's my question - when did Thailand's judiciary ever refer to precedence? It doesn't follow English Common Law's rules of precedence (the system used by UK, US (yes US has always followed the system of English Common Law), Canada and various other countries. Of course this isn't a 'criminal' case - it's a civil case. A Thai lawyer can better explain this - but my understanding is Thailand's judiciary can rule any way they want, regardless of previous similar rulings. Maybe in civil cases too? In any case, it was always a naive notion to believe the 30/30/30 system was lawful.
