Has anyone ever had a problem with all these ants crawling around inside their laptops? I've ignored this for a long time, but I cannot help wondering. sad.png

They certainly seem to have an affinity for electronics (although I thought it was the electric fields that attracted the beasties, they do tend to congregate in the PSU), unfortunately they also attract jinjoks to eat them, high voltage power supplies don't fare well (neither do the jinjoks) sad.png

I've lost two A/C cards, due to lizards eating ants in there.

But, I think ants prefer Windows over OSX. I knew they were stupid!

Nah, ours prefer the open-source option FreeBSD http://www.freebsd.org/ , killed the PSU in my UNRAID NAS sad.png

This reminds me of the origins of the expression "to debug a programme"

where problems were caused in the early machines by real bugs shorting circuits.

I remember a small ants nest in my toastie maker, needless to say I switched it on and they scattered quite sharpish

I thought they were made and bought to be switched on??
