johnmarhall Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 know a man whose wife had a nose operation to look like a western lady lives in chiang rai and got the operation in kasemrad sriburin hospital things were tight for them but she still had it done she looked better before the operation i personally think it looks out of place on a thai lady everyone to their own i see it is getting very popular here in chiang rai and other areas
DonaldBattles Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 If you look at the volume of business at Sriburin you will find that cosmetic surgery is probable their largest earner. It is big time. Thai girls think that an eye and nose job will make them look like a farang which is real BS. I heard of a guy whose wife wanted a nose job and he told her a better investment would 5 stitches in the vulva. 1
brianmarinus Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 This is just like their thoughts about white skin and if you take a look at all the superstars or people whit money...they have done it - I agree and as I tell my wife when she talk about it..if you where meant to have another nose you would be born whit it..think it looks silly.
ImageDude Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 I heard of a guy whose wife wanted a nose job and he told her a better investment would 5 stitches in the vulva. WOW!. . . they only put four in potato sacks !!!
Gameboy Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Its Funny in the west big protruding Ears are seen as ugly/stupid - In Thailand protruding ears are seen as a sign of intelligent and are proudly put on show. So don't you think the west are wrong on this subject? I think so!
mikebell Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Whilst my mate was on business in the UK, his wife had a nose job. On his return, he failed to notice - thought she'd had her hair done. First time he kissed her, he knocked the new nose crooked & she had to return for a re-tread. 1
arunsakda Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 (edited) I was a mouth-breather about age 13-20 due to a softball injury and deviated septum. The reconstructive surgery is basically the same and is done by a plastic surgeon. Recovery was very painful and it took several years until my shnozz felt solid again. I can breath freely now but could not imagine undergoing that much discomfort for reasons of vanity. Edited July 6, 2014 by arunsakda
NeverSure Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 I was a mouth-breather about age 13-20 due to a softball injury and deviated septum. The reconstructive surgery is basically the same and is done by a plastic surgeon. Recovery was very painful and it took several years until my shnozz felt solid again. I can breath freely now but could not imagine undergoing that much discomfort for reasons of vanity. Wow. I'm surprised it was so painful and took so long to heal. Bummer. I broke my nose a couple of times and was also born with sinus openings that were too small. I not only had trouble breathing, but struggled with sinus congestion and infections. The doctor put me under and bored out my sinuses with a post hole auger on a tractor, lol, and broke my nose and reset it. I had hard pressed cotton in the shape of a cigarette up my sinuses for a week, and simple splints in my nose for a month, and after that I was fine. I never had very much pain. FWIW, that surgery and lasik surgery are probably the two best things I've ever done for myself.
