finy
I know there is already a thread in here about the horrible process in place when applying for a new British passport, but I thought this might be of interest to anyone living down south on one of the islands, etc. If you're applying for your passport from Malaysia you can do everything online, so you could easily just apply online before you head down to do a border run then send off declaration from inside Malaysia. I was just wondering how you could get it back? For example, would it be possible to rent a PO Box in Penang then just pop down to pick it up after it's been sent back after the 6 weeks. I know there must be a service there that will accept and hold your delivery for you. It sort of kills two birds with one stone and no need to book appointments etc in Bangkok. pontious
But from Malaysia you have to send your current passport - how do you intend to re-enter Thailand and back again to pick up your new passport?
ubonjoe
How would you be able to travel without a passport. You have to send your passport with the application if you are in Malaysia.
