Knocked back at Swampy? Visa exempt arrivals gone wrong or done right.

Featured Replies

A new thread considering the start of the crackdown on visa exempt arrivals to begin August 13. Immigration has not clearly stated how many visa exempt arrivals shall be allowed per year, nor have immigration clearly stated how the minimum interval between visa exempt arrivals will be limited. Three days? Thirty days? Let us know your experiences and circumstances, positive and negative.

This discussion should mainly deal with those of us who travel to Thailand frequently by air but until now have not needed anything other than visa exemptions, and for whom a non-imm visa is actually inappropriate due to short length of stay and residing more outside the Kingdom than within it. Thinking vacation home owners, FIFO overseas workers under 50 without Thai spouse or kids, Jet-Setters, and frequent flying business persons.

“Knocked back at Swampy” would also be welcome for comparison experiences with HKT and CNX arrivals.

This might be good topic, except for the fact that any web search with the correct name of the airport to which you seem to refer or with the IATA code for it will not include your topic in the search result.

What is Swampy? https://www.google.com/search?q=what+is+Swampy%3F&oq=what+is&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j69i57j69i60j69i59j0j69i60.10323j0j4&client=tablet-android-google&sourceid=chrome-mobile&espv=1&ie=UTF-8

A prime example of a badly written topic title and post.
