gk10002000
I know several offshore oil workers and know of other workers in similar jobs. They work those off then on times and in between their work they go to Thailand. Some have families, lown a condo, etc. With these recent visa crackdowns there are reports, some a bit more reliable than others of them being refused entry and told they were not tourists. I suggest that if these people brought with them proof of having a permanent domocile, place of residence, rental agreement, property deed, or possibly more important records (passport ) that shows they actually went home to their home country between much of their work assignments they would have less of a problem re-entering Thailand. If they never go back to their home country in years, it is probably technically a bit difficult for the local border official to call him a tourist.
