To save me hijacking the rolex thread, anyone know where I can buy a watch with a velcro strap? I find the normal straps uncomfortable, and please don't mention the 100 Baht rubbish you just clip on to your wrist.

You might be better off finding a watch you like and then buying a velcro strap to fit after. Plenty of velcro straps on Ebay and I'm sure some local watch shops would stock them as well.

Check out one of the watch stalls in most of the Big C's or Tesco. I recall seeing every kind of strap imaginable at those places. They even trimmed and fitted a particularly nice silicone band to my Seiko Monster that was originally too wide. Did a good job of it.
