Where would be a good place to buy vegetables around Sala Daeng. I've just moved here and while I see there are western style supermarkets, I'm wondering if a local back-street soi market would have cheaper prices. Where do most locals go? Or failing that, which supermarket is the best choice?

Foodland on Patpong 2 has a great range of vegatables at reaonable prices.

You can also find everything at Tops basement of Silom Complex but for best prices and fast checkout service I much prefer Foodland.

Thank you! They did have the best prices. Although fruit around Silom is expensive seemingly everywhere.
