Guest Posted July 22, 2014 Share Posted July 22, 2014 I remember taking one photo which was to explain the weather during the rain season, can not find it now tough. One huge local thunderstorm cloud while other parts were fairly uncloudy. Even if there would be huge rain in Karon, Patong could be enjoying the sunshine. We have seen the same happening numerous times here on this forum. Sometimes it's raining on the East coast while Rawai area has been very dry.. and then sometimes the other way around. Every now and then there is the 2-3 day grayness filling the sky, but these are far less depressing than in some other parts of the world where the rain could continue for a week.. and the rain is cold.
