Need to visit the city centre. Are there shuttle minibuses which would pickup from the hotel & head there?

Not keen on usi g the bus from north pattaya bus station or paying 1k for a taxi.

Do you mean from Pattaya to Bangkok city centre? Confused by the mention of BTS. Many minibus and coach services advertised both ways in Bangkok.

I hate those mini buses. Last one I took picked me up at my hotel, then went to a bunch more picking up other passengers. We waited at one for over 30 minutes at one as the passengers were still sleeping. The driver then refused to use the tollway and ended up dropping us off in some obscure location where we had to get a taxi to take us to the BTS. Drove like a maniac and we were stuffed in like sardines. The bus is much more comfortable. Right to Ekamai with the BTS right there.

It was a mini bus that was organized by my hotel. Picked us up at the hotel and then cruised around town picking up other passengers. I now just got to the N. Pattaya bus station. It's a pretty comfortable ride and you know what you are getting into.
