Whats the situation with betting online in Thailand. Can i go into any internet cafe and use my betfair account or would this be reported and frowned upon. Also what other sites such as racingpost etc etc are these all banned or is there a way around it.

Although gambling is Illegal in Thailand, if i was backing using betfair and the money was withdrawn to an Irish Bank account is that technically not gambling in Thailand. What are the implications if the wrong person spotted you using betfair etc, a fine, jail etc??

I bet that the fact that you are phisicaly placing the bet from within Thailand is illegal, wherever the money comes from.
