uQuestion, Thai fast Train or Chinese fast train?

So all I'm hearing rumbling's of the Thai fast train,  and it's just scuttlebutt for now ok, so forgive any trespasses' ok,

 

I'm hearing the Chinese are offering to build a fast train for Thailand, BUT  They want use of land for 50 years,   length of rail line with a 5 kilometer envelope, so to average???, a possible 2.5 K's either side of the tracks??? 

and I've heard the go ahead is on the cards???, AGIAN SCUTTELBUT!!!

And here was I thinking that Thai law is a lease max is 30 years,,,   

Also hearing that the Cambodians said NO to that little chestnut?

if the chinese want a train to singapore and land access to the indian ocean, why would they be interested in building a line thru cambodia?

yes they started that work i saw many yrs ago in malaya side to sinapore and china side through laos work was stopped
in thai after taksin departed then he brought land around burma port as china was going to go through burma
now that stopped cheers

Well I suppose if the Chinese want to get to all parts of South East Asia as fast as possible, it would be great.  But in a time of conflict, it would be great to move the military ASAP. Nth Korea wouldn't mind either.

They have already invested in Laos and have the go ahead to build the line from China to the new not yet built gambling city (possibly Vientiane?).

 

Maybe they just want to extend to BKK to pull more money people in from the south.

 

Lots of illegal gamblers in the LOS that would take the pilgrimage to the promised land.
