Hello ive been so smart to have my passport ending up in the laundry machine
Now it is useless
I got 1 year non o , till juli 30
On 27 juli i entered back in thailand from travel to europe so that date would become around 23 oktober.
Now all i could find so far is my last entry stamp .
How big is the chance i face a overstay ?
Plan is tommorow morning to go to immigration
And beginning next week get a new passport and then a new 1 year visa offcourse

Any insights for me ???

All help welcome

You do not need to go to immigration tomorrow.

Sequence is the following

- your embassy/consulate for replacement and a letter authorizing stamps transfer

- when you have the new passport, immigration for stamps transfer

Should be fairly easy as you have at least some remains (probably somewhat identifiable?).

So no need to file a police report as in case of theft.

Take the "useless" passport with you.

The letter is routinely given by the German embassy e.g. and its usually required by immigration.

Guess the Dutch will know about it too.
