I transferred money from Westpac Bank in Australia on Monday 28th July, as yet it has not arrived into my BKK bank account, it usually only takes about 3 days....Each bank blames the other for the delay.

You only instructed the remitting bank 2 business days ago, this well within the norm of 1-3 days for SWIFT transfers and banks do not operate these facilities on Saturdays or Sundays.  SCB has already told you the transfer is in, why the panic? 

 

In future, to ensure the payments are cleared when you want them to be, you should tell the remitting bank to state a specific "value date" (the date you want the payment cleared), ie if you instructed your UK bank on the 30th July and requested a value date of 1st August, the funds would have been cleared by SCB and credited to your account on the 1st.

OP, just curious, did the miney arrive in your account already?
