ucomservices
Hi folks, Just got down from my bus from Phayao to mochit bus station at 6:30 am. Took a Taxt-Meter from the mochit bus station and told the Taxt driver not to go thru any highways as it was a not too crowded time on the roads in bangkok. I also wanted to avoid paying for the tolls. The ride was about 32 Kms from the bus station to the airport and took about 30 minutes. THE TAXI METER READING CAME TO 241 BAHT. I thought to myself as I got down at the airport that this was the cheapest ride to the airport that I had even taken.

uwe_rayong
I bet the taxi driver was happy too. 241 THB for 32km makes about 200 THB net profit for the driver in 30 minutes. (minus car rent) For the unlucky people working at 7eleven or KFC they have to cheer they "Hello, welcome at xxx " - " Please come back..." for something like 6 hours to get 200 THB...
