End Of Fm 107 Metropolis?

Featured Replies

I heard this morning that Radio Metropolis 107 is going to end....does anyone know when?

I think this would be a terrible shame....they can be heard all in Pattaya, I even picked them up on Samui....any plans for a new EL station?

End of July AFAIK :o

Severe restriction on the English language radio, down from two stations last year to none now.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

It's not a restriction. It's just a lack of business (not enough ad time being sold) with high fixed costs.

So it's back to listening to Somchai and the Som Tam Vendors.

Yeah, agreed. In my haste to post I used the 'wrong' word, I meant to say that my listening to English language radio is severely restricted.

Isn't English a wonderful language :D:)

Anyone who thinks the demise of the old Mtropolis station was a free market "commercial" decision is deluding themselves.........
