Residence Certificate from Immigration - Documents required

I am hoping to get a "residence certificate" from Immigration to use to renew my Driver's Licence.

 

The documents I have are

 

My passport and many copies of key pages.

Photos

A completed application form.

Cash for the fee (300 Baht per copy from Sri Racha)

Copy of ID card of landlord (Sri Racha always want this)

Rental agreement and copies.

 

Can you think of anything else?

 

I am sure Immigration will come up with something not on this list.

I just renewed both of mine last month,

your forgetting the proof of residence.

you will  need to hit immigration or embassy for one of these.

when i went to do mine, was told  that i needed a WP.......NOT!

I hit immigration and got the POR, went back and all was good.

Obtained two residence certificates at Jomtien yesterday.

 

Passport

Copy of main page, extension of stay, entry stamp

Copy of departure card

Utility bill

Application form

3 photos

 

500 THB, 15 minutes

It's 300 Bt for one copy and 500 Bt for two, if you want same day (10-15 mins) processing time. Or free if you are willing to wait a few days.

 

OT here, but Bang Lamung DLT (Chonburi) will accept one original and one copy for the purposes of both car and motorbike licence renewals.

 

p/s: at such nominal costs which is good for 5 yrs driving licence, is it really such a big deal?
