Probably because thousends of people with non O visas do this every month. And have done so for many many years. Everyone come back in to Thailand with the stamp. You have to this every 90 days. And there have never been any problem doing it. That's why it's a bit strange to report that it was ok to do it.

The OP was obviously (now after 3 pages) stating that they got a stamp back into the country after "being required to leave it after staying up to a max of 90 days", as per their Non Im O visa. This is the law.

IMO - misleading OP title and generally irrelevent.......I could have had a cup of tea instead of reading (and posting).
