Hi there,

I live in Samut Prakan and I'm needing to extend my Non - O acquired due to my marraige. I only need about 50 days extra and know that the emergency extension is possible for a 60 day period.

I'll be heading home for a while and returning later in the year, I have a multiple Non - O.

What documents do I need to take to get this extension? My wife called the immigration here, they said I'll need marriage certificates and a taibien baan also. Do I really need the house book? Can someone clear this up for me?

Thanks a bunch, Thaiwi.

It's her Thabien bahn she must bring together with marriage certificate.

From Police order 777/2551

2.24 In the case of an alien visiting a Thai spouse or child:
Permission will be granted for a period of not more than 60 days at a time.
(1) Proof of relationship.
(2) In the case of a spouse, their marital relationship shall be de jure (legitimate) and de facto.

You wife will need to go with you when you apply. Copies of her house book will be accepted.

Thanks Ubonjoe, will it matter that the Taibien Baan is from Samut Songkhram, as we currently rent in Samut Prakan, therefore we have no house book for our current place. But I want to go to immigration in Samut Prakan, I don't even think Samut Songkhram has an immigration office.

I've just been told we'll need to head to Samut Sakhon Immigration office as Samut Songkhram doesn't have one. It was immigration that said this, so let's hope all is well! Cheers all.
