Hello,

i have a one year multi entry ED Visa. So first 90 days are over soon.

So when i am right, i have two options after 90 days.

1. i go to immigration office and apply for an 90 days extension. For this i need some documents from my thai language school and have to pay 1900 THB

or

2. I fly outside thailand to another country . When come back, i get 90 days again, and no need to provide documents to the airport immigration, except my passport.

Is this right, do i miss anything?

Thank you.........

It is right, but carry school papers even if you choose to do a border run.

Since it seems that the maximum extensions given will be for a year since entry, it is probably better that for you to do a border run at the last possible date allowed by your visa.

I do not know where you got your visa, but legally Education Visa's are Single Entry only.

Incorrect, can be single or multi-entry depending on the embassy/consulate issuing them.

That is not correct. There is nothing that says you cannot have a multiple entry non-ed visa.

Yeah, I've got a multi-entry Ed visa. I've not flown out on it since the new rules are in place- will be this weekend but the school gave me a letter to carry in case of problems getting back in (which I doubt, but you never know). So worth asking your school for a letter confirming you are currently studying with them.
