Lennon killer denied parole again

Featured Replies

I have zero sympathy for this convicted murderer. He took a great man from us all.

Nonetheless he has now served many years past his minimum parole term.

There have been many many murder cases in horrific circumstances where the murderer has received lesser time in prison.

This shit head should have been sent to where John is, so he can be asked by John....

"What the fugg was that all about"....?

Inflammatory post removed.

John Lennon along with all The Beatles wrote the theme music to the lives of millions of people world wide. The out pouring of grief when he died from those millions will be something that will seldom be repeated. His killer driven by his selfish motives was responsible for this. It was not just an everyday murder it was a crime against mankind. This is what makes John Lennon special.

If this sicko had shot Joe Bloggs he would be out now. Keeping him in prison just because he killed someone famous makes a total mockery of the law.

I agree, if he had knocked-off Joe Bloggs, someone like you or me, he would almost certainly have been freed, assuming Good Behavior after 20 Years. However he WAS given 20-Years-to-Life, so it follows that as his victim was of such a high profile, he'll do much longer. Of course, YOKO might have had more to do with the Parole Board decision than we are aware of.

There has been speculation that Chapman was a mind control victim, since all he did was calmly stand aloof after shooting Lenon and while waiting for police to apprehend him, he began reading Catcher in the Rye--not exactly "normal" behavior and to the practiced eye mind control behavior. If he were released he might reveal too many secrets before he got "suicided".

No, a good chance if he killed any old Joe Smoe he would still be in prison. The US isn't known for being lenient like some of the EU countries. The difference is, his incarceration and parole hearing wouldn't be in the news.

he only killed one british guy right .... too bad he did not use his ferrari ...
