I was back in Sheffield when this story broke and saw many TV reports on the subject. Many of the people interviewed, police, social workers etc, admitted that they had turned a bind eye rather than get caught up in a race relations dispute.

When the Race Relations Act was reformed in 1976, many said at the time that it went too far and would in due course kick us in the teeth.

Those interviewed that were active in the investigations implied that Rotherham was just the tip of the iceberg and that reports on the larger cities in the area such as Sheffield and Bradford would show much greater figures.

I was hearing chat about it going on when I was back in Dewsbury the year after 7/7.

Muslim rape is also widespread in Leicester, but the authorities there lean over backwards more than most not to offend by protecting the criminals and ignoring the victims.

More shame!

"The video shows the Police Commissioner being questioned about why, among many things, the UK police found a 11-year-girl being sexually abused by Muslim men and charged the girl for being drunk under age and did nothing to the Muslim men"

http://www.frontpagemag.com/2014/frontpagemag-com/how-the-left-gave-u-k-girls-to-muslim-rape-gangs/

The telling video is the 1st one at around 10:40. The Chief Constable at the time 2011 had the force concentrate on speeding cars.

Why does everyone keep referring to "girls" or "she"? We all know that the A-Rabs demonstrate an unusually strong proclivity toward, shall we say, "the love that dare not speak its name" (just to ensure that no-one is the least bit offended). I suspect that this proclivity is not only common to A-Rabs, but also a Muslim trait, given the religious barriers to the normal expressions of sexual desire. So I would like to know just how many young boys in Rotherham, not girls, are victims of this twisted gang? And why does none mention these boys? Why is it just the girls attract expressions of sympathy? Does no-one care for the boys who have been raped and sexually abused by these monsters?

Because the vast majority were girls in Rotherham, and the perps were not Arabs.

Quite right, the majority of Muslims in the area are Asian Muslims.

All the condescending twits would be going on & on about Thai culture, the incompetent police and how this sort of thing would never happen in the west.

Can you imagine the howls of outrage here at the hub of finger pointing if this sort of thing was uncovered here and the Thai police had said this:

"Abused children: police sorry for 'failing'"

All the condescending twits would be going on & on about Thai culture, the incompetent police and how this sort of thing would never happen in the west.

Isn't this the current trend that is existing on this developed planet?

Inquiry has collapsed again. Fiona Woolf has resigned as head of the inquiry.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/11202624/Questions-for-Theresa-May-as-Fiona-Woolf-resigns.html

So that's twice. Where is this going?

Simon Danczuk rightly making a lot of noise about it. Tom Watson as well.

I think this inquiry needs to be led by Mike Mansfield QC.

As the trail is going to lead to the heart of Government, it is very difficult to tell where it will go.

And yet brits (especially on this forum) love to bash the US

UK; world hub for child rape and abuse

If I were you I will not brag about that: The United States Department of Justice estimates that pornographers have recorded the abuse of more than one million children in the United States alone.

Most right thinking people would agree with that, Michael Mansfield is the obvious choice. But it will never happen. The last thing the British government want is for the truth to come out, people at the very top of British society are being protected here, that is why the likes of Fiona Woolf and her predecessor were appointed, a safe pair of hands who could be relied upon to make sure the people in the higher echelons of British society who have been abusing vulnerable children on an industrial scale for decades would be protected. It beggars belief that Theresa May, the Home Secretary would expect people to accept Fiona Woolf as the head of this inquiry, given her close friendship with Leon Brittan, the ex Home Secretary in the Thatcher government who is implicated in serious crimes against children and the cover up. Just google 'Leon Brittan' and judge for yourselves. William Hague has many questions to answer too, both regarding his role in the Brittan affair, and the cover up of the abuse at the North Wales children's homes when he was Welsh Secretary. No wonder he suddenly resigned as Foreign Secretary recently! This is a massive criminal scandal that the powers that be in the UK government are desperately trying to keep a lid on, involving ex Prime Ministers, Cabinet ministers, even members of the British Royals. But drip by drip the truth is emerging, and when the full horrors of what has been going on are revealed it will shake the UK to it's foundations. This is why People like Fiona Woolf and Lady Butler - Sloss were appointed, to stop this coming out. The contempt shown to the victims of this abuse by Theresa May, the Home Secretary, is simply staggering.

Q/ why did the police and the social agencies not go stronger on these abusers, and also why did they not go public with the facts that were know to them for years.

A/ all to do with political correctness, they were too afraid to be classified as racialist, although I dare say not as afraid as the 11yr old girl that was gang banged by these animals, plus their other victims.

Political correctness is rife in the UK especially where social services and the police are concerned.

Milliband was photographed giving money to a 14 year old Roma girl begging on the streets of Manchester the other day.

The police and social services turn a blind eye to someone who should be in school sitting on the pavement asking passers by for money because of her background.

The same blind eye approach was used with the Asian grooming gangs many of who are now locked up.

it would be nice if those who use the expression PC or political correctness actually knew how it originated and understood what it meant instead of using it as a hackneyed excuse for their simplistic and unfounded comment that they consider to be "opinions".....

I wonder what would have happened if the abusers had been white and the girls Asian?

On this scale certainly not brushed under the carpet.

Three police forces are currently being investigated.

Yesterday we had this horrific story making headlines.

Thirteen people have been arrested over a trafficking ring which saw a pregnant woman almost tricked into an abortion following a sham marriage.

The 20-year-old from Slovakia was sold for up to £15,000 by a gang in Greater Manchester who organised a marriage to a man facing deportation, police said.

Police said the woman, who was 25 weeks pregnant, was flown to Luton in May, believing she was going to visit her sister.

She was met by a man who claimed to be her sister's friend and was taken to an address in Failsworth, Oldham before being sold to another man.

In July, she was married under Sharia law in Rochdale.

Not long back from the UK and saw several news items about the abuse and the inquiry into it, some quite lengthy. I was waiting to see if they would describe the perpetrators as Asian or Muslim and maybe question why so few had been arrested for this appalling abuse. Not one time were the criminals even mentioned, the focus was all on the Police and Social workers, the criminals responsible seem to be irrelevant as far as the TV was concerned.

Probably because those items were about the failures of the police and social services!

There has been plenty of TV items, in the news and specific documentaries, newspaper articles etc. in the UK about this appalling crime which have concentrated on the criminals and their race and their religion.

Indeed, every time it is mentioned they are referred to as an Asian gang, a gang of Muslim men or similar.

But then, if one wants to 'prove' a spurious point, one would ignore all that and concentrate on the very small number of programmes which are not about the gang and so don't mention them!

Just as one ignores the fact that the majority of child sexual abuse in the UK is committed by white men; who probably made up a significant proportion of the Rotherham gang's 'customers, and reaches the highest levels of society.

Child abusers in the Home Office: Amid the growing furore over a cover-up of a paedophile ring at the heart of Westminster, an expose of the true extent of the scandal

Despite the efforts of some to prove otherwise, this appalling crime is not practised solely by Muslims.

The Rotherham gang did not commit this crime because they are Muslim; they did so because they are evil men with perverted tastes; just like every other child rapist, regardless of their skin colour or religion.

You are avoiding facts here and the issue of alleged paedophiles in other parts of the UK have no bearing on the mass grooming of young vulnerable under age white girls by Asian gangs.

The Jay report into failings in Rotherham says: By far the majority of perpetrators were described as Asian by victims, yet throughout the entire period, councillors did not engage directly with the Pakistani-heritage community to discuss how best they could jointly address the issue.

Some councillors seemed to think it was a one-off problem, which they hoped would go away. Several staff described their nervousness about identifying the ethnic origins of perpetrators for fear of being thought racist; others remembered clear direction from their managers not to do so.

Ceop data about the ethnicity of offenders and suspects identified by those 31 police forces in 2012 is incomplete.

The unit says: All ethnicities were represented in the sample. However, a disproportionate number of offenders were reported as Asian.

http://blogs.channel4.com/factcheck/factcheck-grooming-gangs/18739

Sentencing nine men in 2012 over offences in Rochdale, judge Gerald Clifton told the defendants they had treated their victims as though they were worthless and beyond all respect, adding: I believe that one of the factors that led to that was that they were not of your community or religion.

I fail to see how I am avoiding facts when I say that evil men of all religions, races and classes commit this evil crime; women too; or when I say that those who commit this crime do so because they are evil, not because of their religion.

But I suppose if one has an agenda, then one would think that I am.

I am not denying that there are bad people of all races creeds and colour.

We are discussing Rotherham here but in several cities across the UK where this mass organised exploitation took place the common thread was all the girls were white and the perpetrators were Pakistani Muslims.

The number of victims are staggering. 1400 in the. Rotherham area alone.

There is a common thread to this industrial scale sex crime.

The Rochdale sex trafficking gang preyed on at least 47 girls before they were convicted in 2012 of rape, trafficking girls for sex and conspiracy to engage in sexual activity with a child.

The men were all British Pakistanis (except for one from Afghanistan) and from Muslim backgrounds.
