What are my chances of getting into Thailand with 3 VOAs and 4 tourist visas since October 2013? And 2 full empty pages left in my passport plus pages with more place for stamps. I've been in Thailand 7 months already during 2014.

My passport now is full of stamps and visas from mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesian 1-year business visa, Malaysia and Singapore. So if the immigration officer only would look in my passport he would have to spend some time to see the Thai VOAs and visas among all other stamps and visas. But probably he see my 3 VOAs and 4 tourist visas immediately on his computer screen.

On the plus side for me:

- I exit Phuket on 2nd August, so it will be 1 month since my last visit in Thailand.

- I have so many other visas from other countries so it won't appear like a regular visa run.

- It's only since October last year I've been in Thailand, not much before that.

I have always taken flights to Phuket before, would it increase my chances of not getting denied entry if I fly to Bangkok this time instead? Bangkok is also bigger.

You will have no problem entering the country. Your travels do not fit immigration's in/out visa runner profile for visa exempt entries (they are not a VOA).

Tourist and other visas do not count.

Isn't VOA and visa exempt entries the same? When I arrive without a visa to Thailand, I always only get a small stamp in my passport. Is that visa exempt entry (and not VOA as I get nothing that could be called a visa)? Is anything "better" to have of these two (VOA and visa exempt entry)?

A visa exempt entry gives a 30 day entry by air.

A VOA is only for those from certain countries and only gives a 15 day entry after applying for it and paying 1000 baht. It is and also only available at a few border crossing and at the airports.
