Is there a risk that we can be denied a 30 days Visa exemption if we arrive Thailand without a ticket proving that we will leave the country within 30 days? We have a return ticket to Europe after 60 days, and consider to travel on a 30 days exemption and 30 days extension in accordance to the new visa regulation, instead of getting a 60 days tourist visa at home as we have done before.

Note that for 60 days stay you should get a tourist visa costing a little more than Bt. 1,000 instead of an extension costing 1,900.

The issue is not immigration but the airline may deny you boarding when not having a return ticket withing 30 days.
