Tourist visa question

I just want to know if it's possible for someone who have an overstay stamp in his passeport to get an extension of Tourist visa after his 'x' days are up or if it's better to just apply for an ED visa?

If you mean an previous overstay stamp it will not be a problem to get an extension.

If you mean a current overstay that would depend upon how many days the overstay is for.

I meant a previous overstay that has been fixed already. I'm just wondering if it's possible to get an extension refused

Also, an extension is for how long? is it 7 days? 30?

As I said you will not have a problem.

Edit: A 60 day tourist visa entry can be extended for 30 days.

Since last Friday a visa exempt entry can also be extended for 30 days,
