What have you learned in Thailand? What is still surprising you?

Thailand is great! Just when you think you are getting a handle on it some little thing comes up to put a smile on your face.

This afternoon on a flight from Phitsanulok to Bkk I (and the rest of the passengers) was introduced to two charming Thai birds, Nok On and Nok Off.

I had to ask them "Seriously?" as I was getting off the plane. I was still smiling until I got to the taxi queue.............................sad.png

BTW, it is true with the nicknames.

I love it Thailand is full of so many little things like that. For instance my friend Boy or are neighbor Porn. If you have a closed mind you are missing a lot. You may not agree with it all but it has worked for 100s of years for them so there must be some thing in it.

Thai language is an exciting and intriguing gift that keeps on giving. I have also learned about the pointlessness of caring about morality and reevaluating concepts of right and wrong.

How do repair a tyre ? Well take it off and put a new one on , Thai way .

Sorry cannot repair.

Get used to it !

Oh yes... "cannot" and "no have" are the most common English words uttered in Thailand....

Thé mots common are seven and eleven :-)

After 10 years. Why do 7/11 have 12 staff, 3 tills yet just one person serving?

That´s because the big bosses at 7/11 know how lazy most thai workers are and they can quit a job just like that.

most thai workers are lazy? lol. let me know when youre planting and cutting rice pal, I'm eager to watch how a real farang he-man worker does it!

And thats done how many days of the year?

But many have adapted well, very well.
