30 Day Extension on Non-O but Need 32 Days

Featured Replies

This is kinda a follow up thread. I have until the 20th of September on my current entry stamp which was from a non-o visa based on marriage.

My flight out of the country is on October 22nd.

I was wanting to get a one month extension at immigration in Bangkok. Is that simply not going to be possible, or is there a way to viably stretch that 30 days to the 22nd of October??

Thanks. If it's a problem I could just do an out in via Cambodia, but I'd really rather not.

Here's the previous thread on extending a Non-O for anybody interested.

EDIT: Forgive me, I see now people are saying I get 60 days on a Non-O extension. If that is true then problem solved. I overlooked that. Can delete the thread if that is in fact true.

Based on marriage to a Thai you will get an extension of 60 days.

I you were not married to a Thai or had a Thai child the longest extension you could get would be 7 days. There is no 30 day extension for a non immigrant visa.

Thanks for confirming that. I appreciate not having to make that day long trip.
