Shots fired during armed robbery at East Pattaya Herbal Shop

PATTAYA:--Three women were lucky to escape with their lives on Friday Evening following an armed robbery at a Herbal Shop in East Pattaya after shots were fired by one of the assailants in their direction.

The incident occurred at the Best Form Thai Herbal Shop off Soi Neun Plun Wab close to the Chalong Market. Khun Sirirat aged 30, the business owner and her Mother, Khun Lookchin aged 63 along with a shop worker, Khun Chalisar aged 33 sustained head injuries after one of the robbers shot in their direction after they were told to kneel on the ground and face away from him.

The two suspects arrived on a motorbike and drew guns as they entered the shop. The victims were forced to open a safe

I'm happy they escaped any fatal injury, and wish them speedy recovery.

To me, the culprits sound like a relative or very close acquaintance to the family.

They should have known what was in the safe, especially the necklace and the ring.

Hope they catch them soon.

Arrest Warrant issued in East Pattaya Herbal Shop Armed robbery case

PATTAYA:--On Monday an arrest warrant was issued in the name of a 22 year old man, wanted in connection with an armed robbery which took place at an East Pattaya Herbal Shop last Friday Evening.

CCTV images of the robbery have emerged and it transpires the two assailants forced the shop owner, her daughter and a shop assistant to lay on the floor face-down, and the man named on the warrant, Khun Wunlop, a former employee of the shop, produced a 22 caliber weapon and fired at the heads of all three women at close-range.

Remarkably all three shots just missed the women who sustained minor head wounds only. A fourth shot was then expelled which also missed the terrified women.
