NOT PORN!

OK, this is about tips for lesser known stuff. I guess that's relative though. Most gay Americans would know about LOOKING but perhaps the rest of the world, not really.

Let's leave MOVIES out of it for a change.

Make it mostly about television, internet video media (often overlap) and perhaps songs.

Here are two of my current tips:

T.V. show and internet site: BILLY ON THE STREET (of New York)

Not gay content per se but definitely a gay sensibility:

PLEASE LIKE ME

Australian comedy genius Josh Thomas. I don't like him, I love him!

BTW, the character's father's new wife is supposed to be Thai, but sure does not sound Thai.

OK, in case you don't know about LOOKING already:

My partner streams a lot of documentary type stuff -- very interesting, but I have no idea of the names of any of them. It's the kind of thing that if I don't write it down I can't remember what it's called or where he got it!

Sorry.

The first movie was quite interesting. Not gay, but a gay moderator insulting people. HarHarHar. :-(

That's just one episode. There are so many! I recently heard about him. Joan Rivers loved his work and helped promote him. I can see the connection between their styles.

Billy on the Street's youtube channel here:

Here's another episode taste:

Well, also not so current, but inspired by a current event.

About the play Almost, Maine.

But there is a gay scene in it called "They Fell" and sometimes that is STILL a problem:

A North Carolina high school has canceled its production ofAlmost, Maine, one of the most regularly produced plays in American high schools. Students claim that parents and local churches had complained to the school that the play featured a same-sex couple among its many characters, WSOC reports.

From a school production that wasn't shut down. I can see why "They Fell" is so popular.

Many videos of high school students performing "They Fell" can be found on YouTube.
