For those of you that fly Thai or any Star-alliance plane from LHR, you may soon have to make sure you arrive at the RIGHT terminal.

Thai for one. will move from T3 to T1 when T5 opens.

UK airport operator BAA and airline group Star Alliance are reportedly close to solving a long-running dispute over facilities at London's Heathrow Airport.

The row was over what Star Alliance, which is led by US carrier United Airlines, Germany's Lufthansa and Singapore Airlines, called uncompetitive facilities at Heathrow that put it at a disadvantage to rival airline group Oneworld which is led by British Airways.

BAA said that it is confident of signing a memorandum of understanding with Star Alliance very soon which would see the group move into the airport's Terminal One building when the Oneworld group moves to the new Terminal Five building.
