cup-O-coffee
Gay travelers ... better boycott Morocco now! It sounds like he got out for PR reasons. What happened to Mr. Nass? For those who made homophobic insinuations that this prison experience was going to be pleasurable for the imprisoned Brit, again, shame on you. Straw Man! cup-O-coffee
This topic is specifically about persecution of gay people in Morocco. Perhaps in future there will be a topic about how women are treated there. Agreed. Perhaps in future there will be a topic about how heterosexual males are treated there. They checked the tourists mobile phone, and it was the photo he had on his phone that convicted him. The case has received Media attention in the U.K. on BBC radio Kent ( Repeated again this coming weekend) where he comes from, it is his Son back in the U.K that is Web savvy. japsportscarmad
Get over it Many people don't suport homosexuals and think it should be illegal as it was until recently in most countries. Of course then they're called homophobic but I don't think that's a crime to have a differing view it's called free SPEACH. It's like not been able to say lets boycott Israeli products as some idiots would call you an anti Semite but it's a free choice to boycott products it's not about a religion it's about politics and free SPEACH. The guy arrested was effectively a homosexual sex tourist caught with a guy a third of his age and very indecent photos on his phone allegedly something to do with a fist and an anus so he wasn't just some gay guy minding his own business waiting for a bus and taking in the sun (maybe he was taking in a son?) If you go to another country you should respect their laws if you can't respect their laws then don't go, it's their country their religion their choice. And the Foreign Office web site specifically warns about this topic in particular so no sympathy at all.
