No Rd tax for over a year

Featured Replies

it is a long story but i didn't renew my car tax for over a year now maybe 2.

silly i know but due to the hassle with the finance company being so far away from where I live and just always forgetting, it happened

now my finance is just all been paid up and they said they will forward me the blue book in 2 weeks i guess i need to sort out the rd tax thing.

does anyone know what kind of costs i will be charged for being so late?

any other problems?

you will have to pay all outstanding road tax and a small (I think it is 100b) fine.

Ok, thanks

You could also be asked to pay Government compulsory insurance for the 2 years or so that your vehicle has been un-taxed.

A Thai friend of mine did this recently and he was required to pay two years tax and insurance plus a 100 baht fine. He did not do it himself but asked one of the insurance agents to do it for him.
