Got a few questions, but the general info:

I’ve entered Thailand in the middle of August with a visa exemption and stayed for 10 days. Then returned to Thailand in middle of September with another visa exemption, that I now plan to extend, so I can stay here until middle of November. After that I will leave Thailand for a week, then come back and stay in Thailand until middle of December.

Then I will get double or maybe triple entry tourist visa at the embassy in Germany and come back to Thailand in early January. I could obviously get that while I’m outside of Thailand in the end of November. But I’m most likely going to be in Singapore and I heard it’s hard or impossible for foreigners (I’m German) to get a tourist visa there.

1) Is the above plan risky or is it very unlikely I won’t be allowed to enter again in late November or won’t get the touristy visa?

2) To avoid being rejected, how long do you recommend should I be outside of Thailand in mid-November before entering again? Are a few days? A week? Longer?

3) This page http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/744440-longer-visa-exemption-extensions-begin-august-29-2014/ says, that documents for 10,000 or 20,000 are required? How? Should I just show that amount of cash? I could do a printout of my German bank account, but I doubt that that would mean anything to them.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.

1. you will normally obtain your tourist visa.

2. There is no minimum time. When have a visa you can return after 5 minutes you left.

3. Cash is never asked however in case it is, has to be Bt 20,000 or equivalent in cash, not account printouts.

Unless you are resident in Singapore, it is unlikely that you will get a double or triple-entry tourist visa at the Thai consulate in that country.

1) But do you also think getting into Thailand with a visa excemption in late November will be okay? It will be my third visa exemption since mid-August.

2) Right. But I meant what's recommended to reduce the risk of being rejected or it being considered a border run. If I re-enter within 5 mins, I'm sure it's more risky, than if I wait a week, no?

Thank you!

Yes, that's why I plan to do it in Germany in Mid-December. Do you see any problem with my plan though? Will I have trouble getting a third visa exemption in late November? Would you recommend me to go somewhere else than Singapore, for example Laos, get a proper tourist visa and use that instead of trying to enter with another visa exempt?

Thank you

No problem to make your trips with visa exempt entries. You will be doing what a tourist would do. You will not fit the profile of being a visa runner.

Thank you so much!

How long do recommend me to be outside of Thailand before entering with my 3rd visa exemption?

- 10 days in Thailand with visa exemption

- 3 weeks outside of Thailand

- 50 days in Thailand with visa exemption and extension

- 6 days outside of Thailand

- 27 days in Thailand with visa exemption

Does this look okay or should I better be outside of Thailand for more than 6 days before the 3rd visa exemption?

Thank you
