How much electricity would a microwave cost to run in Thailand?

  • 750 watt microwave
  • running on high
  • electric 4 baht per unit

Additionally what is an electrical "unit" in Thailand and how much water in a "water unit"?

Cheers!

Electrical 'unit' is 1000 Watts for an hour ie 1KWH.

If no losses microwave with 750W output would cost 3baht per hour. Input would actually be more than 750 watts so closer to 4 baht/hour using your costings.

As said water unit = 1 cubic meter.
