Bill for CTH?

I haven't been paid up since early August 2014. I was wondering if CTH will send me a bill sometime. Anyone out there in CM who has received a bill lately?

CTH, is a satellite or TV provider, similar to TRUE but with an accounting system that beggars belief.

It took nearly 4 months to get our first bill but now it comes every month.

Trust me that they are probably the most hopeless business organisation in Thailand ,communication with them,in Bangkok, is almost impossible and if you cancel keep a copy of your email as they may not turn up for months.

If they lose the BPL contract (English Premier League football ) they may well disappear so suggest no long term contract where they have your money.

They have an association with WETV ,office in CM, but getting any sense out of them is almost impossible.

Had mine for a year already, no bill! I asked to pay by AmEx 1 year ago, but they said can't handle it yet.

They now have pulled the plug, no signal, unles I pay the bill, but no bill!!

So today tried to phone to cancel...no response.

Sent an eamil and will wait for a response...............................

As everyone said good for EPL but everything else crap.

Got True online cable today 30Mbps up and 3 Mbps down for 799/month so can watch BBC i-player on line, so "Chuck you Farley"

The really weird thing about CTH is that the major shareholders or investors are people from the big business end of town.

You would think that they would have head hunted some reasonably intelligent people from the opposition,but no they went with amateurs.

They borrowed billions from the Bangkok Bank,never set up regional offices like ie CM and the "service/help" phone no doesn't answer the phone,sending emails is a total waste of time and the

installers once they have done the job don't want to know about it,one can hardly blame them.

I waited 6 months before I got my first CTH bill, despite phoning and e-mailing them. When it arrived it was for just 1 months amount. Since then, in 9 months I have received only 3 bills, each one for just 1 months amount. Last one I received was in August. I pay each one when I receive it.

With no office in Chiang Mai and no invoice, I can't pay at the bank as they insist on having an invoice number.

Recently, the dish was moved during a strong wind and I called at the shop where I got the installation to arrange for somebody to come and re-position the dish, and, despite being offered 2,000 baht for a 10 minute job, they just were not interested. I eventually got a "non-CTH" shop to do the job for 300 baht.

Only until the end of next season for CTH. No way can I see them bidding for a new contract. I wonder if TrueVisions will make a bid. I suppose it depends on how many customers they lost when the Premier League went.

Without the English football CTH really have nothing left for foreigners with the exception of Sky & Fox News,and the hyped up ESPN Sports Channels. They might merge but I doubt TRUE would take them on and unless a new player comes in its good night.

WETV,who they have some sort of relationship don't have enough cable coverage out our way. The WETV office in CM has CTH logos on the wall but thats about the extent of their knowledge

We have IPM on a second set, 3,500 b one off payment and its got as much as CTH re Thai Channels and Al jazeera for English news.

Is everybody getting updates everyday , 7 days in a row know I have had updates , don't know what is updating or where , but the only thing that changes is , I have to set my language back to English on 70 % of the progs. I watch.

It's doesn't seem that unusual to have Amex refused.....worldwide.....it may be finished as a card...
