gimatli Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 Hello. I would like to buy a kayak in China. The company can ship it to the Bangkok port but I have no idea how to pick up the kayak at the port. I suppose they store it in a deposit and I can go in an office with a receipt and take it. Someone did already it? Thank you
h90 Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 Well, it isn't that easy..... As what company they use and for the contact details in Thailand. Than call them and ask them how much they charge on your side for the customs clearing and the delivery (at least delivery outside the port). There can be costs that are much higher than the actual shipping costs. I would also check airfreight, which can be much cheaper as there aren't as many side costs.
weegee Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 Yep.....airfreight it for sure. It's cheaper in the long run.
