Bony doesn't look like he's got it in him to turn his poor form around.

He doesn't even look like he's trying. If he loses a ball, or if it doesn't come to his feet he gives up on it, puffs and pants and doesn't try to get it back. That's unforgiveable in my books.

On Southampton's goal. Never a foul in the first place and then he let them play advantage forever before pulling it back

I am glad we won, so I can state, without sour grapes, that the referee was bobbins!!

Whats all this playing the advantage and then coming back to the original foul?? It was like watching Rugby Union. I have never seen an advantage played for so long. Not just leading upto their goal but on numerous other occasions. The only ref I have seen do this.

He missed a deliberate handball which was 100% a penalty for City and he had a perfect view of it!!!

To be fair he missed the Fernandhino handball as well.

Looking forward, I would be nervous of our back four facing Stoke next week!!! Definitely Dodgy Keeper syndrome and the Demichelis/Otamendi combo doesnt work.

And please may the footballing Gods ensure Sergio isnt seriously injured, because I cant stand watching that lazy useless git, Bony, leading the front line.

^Willy wasn't so wonky and saved us on at least one occasion.

Yeah he put in a decent shift today but I can't wait till Joe is back.

I dont agree boys!!

I thought he was dodgy dodgy!!

Should have come out and collected the cross leading to their goal. The decent save he made in first half was a result of him flapping at another cross. And in second half he was lucky to get away a save when the ball got away from him instead of holding it or pushing it around the posts.

Re Joes injury, I think he was carrying that injury V Liverpool. I commented earlier in that game his distribution was terrible...not usual for Joe.

Probably have to rely on Willy V Stoke. At least Shawcross wont be playing, as he got sent off yesterday!

Ref clearly had been watching rugby world cup where they pull it back minutes later when no advantage accrues; I was going mental at the ref's decision, think he rewrote the rule book today, he was very poor today. I look forward to seeing the replay to see how long he let advantage run before he pulled it back and gave a free kick.

And how the hell did the ref miss that handball on the line by Davies on 20 mins at 1v0 up...red card and penalty.

Ref was rubbish.

I didnt see this post before I posted mine!!

I think us City fans probably see the game exactly the same and agree 95% in our views

Why don't you watch a couple of matches and make your own informed view then Alfie.

I have no reason to laud or decry ginger-top, but I've watched 2 or 3 TV full broadcasts of matches where De Bruyne played including the Liverpool and Juve games. Personally i think he is an excellent player and worth the money they paid. Lively, tracks back, good feet and great crosser of the ball.

Over to you as another non-Manc to tell us what you think, rather than just extrapolating from what you think the generality of journos are not saying about him.

Shalln't be entering a debate with you about it as I suspect you are merely trolling anyway.

Read my previous posts Numpty :

Why don't you watch a couple of matches and make your own informed view then Alfie. :From this comment "De Bruyne would walk into any team" biggrin.png now you are aving a laugh", i would have thought that you would have realized iv'e seen him play !!!

I also said "where is that saying that he is not a good player ? "

Shalln't be entering a debate with you about it as I suspect you are merely trolling anyway. : so why have you posted then ? biggrin.png biggrin.png biggrin.png

For the thicko's on here, nowhere have i said that he is not a good player, all i done was disagree with bb about him "walking into any team" , now if people want me to say that he would walk into any team such Barce, Rm, BM just let me know and i'll say it biggrin.png

Not quite sure you read the full posts with Carmine above. I agreed with JD that Pogba was an excellent player but I doubted he was worth (to buy) more than KdB, to which it was that Carmine posted that Pogba 'would walk in to any team in the world'; I commented that so would KdB. Now anybody with any sense would realise that both of us were using the term 'good enough to walk in to any team in the world' in a football sense of 'being good enough to' and not literally as obviously there are managers who wouldn't want to change what they already have. Sometimes it gets tiresome posting on here!

Don't worry i knew exactly what you meant and whether a manager wanted to change a team or not he wouldn't walk into them 3 teams.

"I just find it strange that i haven't watched one football tv show or read one newspaper column that have said that De Bruyne has set the world alight this season but perhaps they are all watching different games to City supporters"

KdB :

1. MOM yesterday

2. Kevin De Bruyne has again been voted the Etihad Player of the Month. The Belgian's five assists and two goals during October means that he has taken back-to-back awards at his first two attempts.

3. Kevin De Bruyne count: 14 starts (17 games), 7 goals, 8 assists. 10 PL-games, 4 goals, 6 assists.

He'll do for me ;-)

Maybe it's just that my expectation levels have been reduced so much, that every time he catches or saves the ball I jump with joy laugh.png

Alfie, haven't you noticed that BB sees the game of football from a completely different perspective to everyone one else.

Apparently all the games we've drawn we deserved to lose too! biggrin.png

He would walk into Barca/RM and Bayerns team, no problem.

I dont know if you have actually watched him play, Alfie, or if you are just trolling.

He is a better player than Douglas Costa or Vidal. Better than Kroos or Isco. Better than Rakitic and at his age would now be an upgrade on Iniesta. So IMHO he would get regular playing time for any of the big 3.

Its a foregone conclusion that he would be an absolute starter for any Premier League team.

When we played City he had solitude impact on the game i'm not actually sure he was even playing. Was he?

Not to start a going nowhere debate but Iniesta still has it, though I understand the age qualification. Iniesta was masterful in the recent Real Madrid demolition. When he is on his game there is nobody quite like him. Silva at times.

And Costa is a different animal altogether from KDB. Blistering pace and trickery on the left side.

Not starting an argument J&D. I love KDB.thumbsup.gif

Mystic Mystic, when everyone are fit Costa, Vidal, Isco don't even get in their respective teams so why are you comparing him against them ? Kroos plays as a defensive mid player of which De Bruyne isn't so all in all a bit of a wasted post

Solitude impact???

Was KdB playing you ask. The fact that KdB scored and you ask was he playing puts any comments you make about the game in context!

Think you remember the 2nd half as though it was the whole game. I don't remember any City player being particularly great that day so no need to pick out KdB's contribution only. Like AlfieConn, you need to be considering a player's whole performance this season and not just in one game (isn't that obvious!).

Spurs weren't that great that day, you had a good 2nd half performance in a 2nd half GIFTED 2 offside goals (and your 2nd half performance definitely wasn't as good as Liverpool's 90 minute performance).

And in case you haven't noticed, despite our losses, being in crisis (apparently), constant injuries to our key players, were sitting pretty top and we ain't even playing that well.

Still the daft lad at the back of the class Alfie. Almost as good as your belief that Paulinho was a better buy than Fernandhino, and that he would have a bigger impact!!cheesy.gif

Opinions are like A$$ holes . Everybody has one or is one Alfie.thumbsup.gif

No argument.

I think the 'point' Alfie was trying to make is that he believes De Bruyne wouldnt walk into the team of any of the Big 3. I believe he would. Immaterial of injuries or not. What is Bayerns strongest team?? Who knows, least not Alfie. There will always be a difference of opinion.

And Alfie, instead of blabbering your usual nonsense...... why dont you name the 3 big teams strongest starting 11 in your opinion? Then I can dissect it and find a place for KDBlaugh.png
