Yeah some of the passing was sublime and Sane's was the best finish. He's just getting better and better. Job done around 35 minutes, conserve energy and don't risk injury. Struggled to decide who my MoM was there were so many who deserved it

Some OPTA stats

- Guardiola is now the second quickest manager to reach 50 Premier League wins in the competition's history, doing so in just 69 matches. Only Jose Mourinho (63 games) reached 50 wins faster.

- Indeed, his City side are the 10th team to have beaten every other top-flight club within the same season, and the first since Manchester United in 2010/11.

- Manchester City's final possession figure of 82.13 per cent is the highest by an away side in a single Premier League game since we have this data available (2003/04).

- Manchester City are just the third club to have three players (De Bruyne, Sane and Silva) reach double figures for assists in a single Premier League season, after Liverpool (1995/96) and Arsenal (2004/05).

- Since the start of the 2015/16 campaign, De Bruyne has provided 42 assists in the Premier League, more than any other player in the top five European leagues.

not at all disputing the facts, or have a problem but it becomes monotous reading  such stats drivel  . where a report of their match,s   etc etc  E/S eagerly await such posts, when M/City were having a lean trot prior to this season,to my memory( and certainly can be corrected )never saw on  this thread the bad stats (which were certainly were there )relating to that lean trot ,  now being top dogs you are so cocky, and along comes the stats drivel , just simply expressing my very honest view ,   as E/S  posted  earlier Like It  or Lump It     no skin off E/S nose whats so ever

ES. We are excited by this team this season and are on the verge of breaking more records. After our miserable child hoods supporting City we are allowed to get a bit giddy you know. As I said earlier (and I wasn't getting overheated) you don't have to respond. Simples

I think Mr BJ started this thread in 2006 and I think I've been on it pretty much since 2006. He and I and other City fans regularly took stick from other posters who's teams were playing well when City weren't. I've been following City since the late 60's and was a season-ticket holder throughout the 70's and 80's. I am excited by the football we are playing. I mainly post facts on here for the City fans not for non-City fans. I repeat the earlier advice you have been given; if you don't like it on here don't come on, and if you have a valid point you want to make about City make it and if it's worth a response I'm sure we'll entertain it. You could also try typing the queen's English as well if you want most of the posters on here to take you seriously instead of some sort of Croc Dundee taking about the footy.

What on earth are you talking about? What flame? Do you know what a flame is? There was no malice or abuse, purely advisory that if something bores you don't bother reading or replying.

Statistics are for Americans. They are produced by some nerd who has to watch the game sat outside the ground in a portakabin. Statistically speaking, 75% of them are made up anyway because the statman is watching porn instead of the match. Does anyone check the stats? Of course not, people have got lives to live.

Good!

Where you watching the match Jangles?

I’m having a week off with the family in Abu Dhabi, “in between 2 bridges” back on my own stomping ground.

The irony, hope I don’t get arrested for singing Allez, Allez, Allez!

Just got back to Saudi this morning. Having a do round at a mates house. Unfortunately there are 8 Liverpool fans and just 2 City fans there. It's gonna be rather uncomfortable for us if we go behind

Just a joke, albeit a weak one. I presume they had to have a training session on the Anfield pitch this evening because it is the Champions League.

Keep your fingers crossed you don't get Real Madrid if you get past Liverpool. They made Juventus look average, Ronaldo was on great form.

If Madrid win it we are claiming it by proxy. :w00t:

Joking aside these two games should be mint. Can't call it myself.
