That temple is 2km from my house, I am always amazed how they can make it look big. But of course people who never been there would say its real crowded. Think there are more people in the village that I live then at that funeral. Indeed a non event but its good they all got a chance to pay their respects. Stupid that they had to show the three finger salute. Shows again how understanding the army is. Going in against the army and not getting arrested.

Are there 10,000 people in your village? That's how many are said to have attended though I would say that figure would need to be verified by a source other than Khaosod. Personally speaking I would have said that Wat Bang Phai is hardly small, but there you go.

Apiwan was a valued constituency MP (Pheu Thai) for Nonthaburi from 2001 till 2006. He will be remembered as faithful member of the UDD.

It was not his fault he choose some friends unwisely and had to flee to the Philippines. Now after four months he has returned to us. May his spirit know rest.

I don't think it is and I can't really see how you can say it is just because the picture wasn't taken on that side - regardless of where the picture was taken there is definitely room for thousands of mourners. You may have read where I said that the number given would need to be verified by another source but then again you may not have. However if you look at the other paper online you will see another picture giving a realistic impression of the numbers there - and they report "thousands" of mourners i.e more than one thousand.

However if it suits your agenda to believe there were less people there than in your village, be happy. (incidentally how many people are in your "village", just for the sake of credibility, yours that is, not mine).
